Baker Center Construction Update

Effective Monday, January 29, 2024, L Street access to the Baker Center and Mary Bridge Outpatient Center will detour around construction activity. Please follow posted signage and allow extra time to navigate campus.

What to expect

• Please note that, starting 1/29, the Baker Center will no longer be accessible by vehicular traffic from South L Street and South 4th Street.
• Access to the parking garage from South 5th Street will not be affected, however, increased traffic and congestion are expected. Please plan extra time to get to your appointments.
• There is a temporary drop-off/pick-up area in front of the Baker Center, accessible from MLK Jr Way.

Where to park

For appointments at the Baker Center, please park in the Baker Center garage (entrance on South 5th and MLK Jr Way). Parking is also available in the MultiCare P2 garage, accessible from both South I Street and also from South 5th Street and MLK Jr. Way (near the emergency department drop-off).

For all appointments at the Baker Center or Mary Bridge Children’s Outpatient Center, please allow plenty of time for additional traffic congestion and parking.
