Rights for teenagers

As a teen, you have additional rights to privacy and consent for your own care, including:

• Mental health
• Substance abuse
• Birth control
• Sexual health and STD treatment (14+)

At each of your check-ups, you will also be given time to talk to your provider one-on-one. Your privacy is important to us. Your appointment will be kept confidential (except in the case of a life-threatening issue).

We now offer a birth control implant inserted under the skin of the upper arm. Talk to your provider to find out if this option is right for you.
